Hi there, I have just got my hands on a Duo 280c laptop and Docking Station II... I dont know if it is me being daft but I can't get the laptop going... I dont have an AC Mains adapter so the only way I can charge the laptop is in the docking station... I thought it a good idea to try and charge the battery before trying to use it - suspecting the laptop hadn't been used for some time... I left the laptop in the powered docking station overnight to give it a charge... On the top right of the screen (when open) there is a green light - or on the right looking at the laptop when closed and in its dock... I assume when the light is constantly showing green it means the laptop is hapily charging in its dock... When I took the laptop out of the dock this morning after being on charge overnight the green light went out, I tried pressing the power button on the back of the laptop but all I got was this green light staying lit all the time I was pressing it and no other signs of life except the light starts blinking at me when I release the power button :-( The same thing happens if I try and turn the laptop on when it is in the dock... Does this mean battery knackered? Am I forgetting to do something? Will it only charge with a Mains A/C adapter? Am I flogging a dead horse? - HELP!
