Just a note from the voice of experience. I once had Apple repair my PB
520. Even though I asked them to back up the harddrive, it didn't happen.
My recommendation is to write down what's broken and what you want done and
tape it to the top of the PB, before you send it in.
I should add the repair worked fine, but there was nothing but system 7.5 on
the harddrive when I got it back. I think they just popped the old one and
put in a replacement. I couldn't recover anything.
