Since Sep 8th, clutter input events no longer work on an intel x4500 graphics
card running git kernel/mesa/intel driver/drm. Input events work for the first
couple hundred milliseconds of a program run, after that however they fail.
Reverting to mesa from Sep 6th fixes the issue.
