I would like to point out that the chrome9 docs which are available today (at http://www.x.org/docs/via/ ) are incomplete - for example they lack the whole shader instruction set, which makes it a no-go for a 3D driver. Maybe if the card was a lot more widespread people would go through the hoops of reverse engineering it, but given its small market share and the unavailability of complete docs... Or are there newer docs that I'm not aware of?
