Just tested this patch:

For reference I used the mesa-7.2_rc1 compile (with assembler enabled).
With MESA_NO_CODEGEN: Colorful artifacts
Without MESA_NO_CODEGEN: White artifacts, but "light corruptions" (in the sense
that they're not so severe) shining through the "white" from some viewing
angles.

mesa-7.2 + your latest patch:
With MESA_NO_CODEGEN: Only "light corruptions"
Without MESA_NO_CODEGEN: Only "light corruptions"

So this already fixes a lot of the corruption I get with 7.2_rc1, both with asm
and non-asm.

Is there anything else I can test?
And thanks for your help! :)

Greets,
Tobias
