A 3GB download is a bit too much right now for me...
Anyway, I'll close this bug as it has changed into something much else than
initially reported. Marking as fixed since the arb_vp path seems to run ok
(though problems with fallbacks probably remain). See bug #8060 for the lockup
problem.
