Summary: Text display issue w/ Alpha Secondlife client (white
                    background only?)
           Product: Mesa
           Version: 6.3.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Drivers/DRI/r300

I'm trying to get the new Secondlife linux client (very alpha, but actually
working!) running with the r300 driver. It's surprisingly usable; I'm pretty
excited. I have one major issue, though, and I don't know whether it's a r300
issue, or a SL client issue. I'm discussing it with both sides, and I'm happy to
do whatever debugging I can. Getting this working with

The issue is text display. Their fonts (which I believe are included) look great
displaying as white text on a black background. Very sharp. As black text on a
white background, though, I get a unreadable black block. If I select the text
with the mouse, as I drag over it (switching the background color to black with
the select), the text becomes clearly readable.

The following url shows the problem. In the tabbed box in the upper left, I am
highlighting the middle of an unreadable line; you can read the highlighted
text.

Any help or ideas appreciated! Thanks.
