I tried the patch, tough it didn't apply cleanily so I had to do some
manual merging. But it didn't work either. I tried with and without ACPI
but it seemed not to make any difference.
How long the initialization may take? The time I accidentally managed to
get it work it took quite a long time for desktop to show up.
