I've done a cut-n-paste job on the r200 client storage stuff and made a radeon version..

It builds I don't have a radeon here I can test it on .. when I get back into work I'll test it and commit it if no-one has any problems with it ...
The env var still has the R200 prefix, otherwise it seems fine.
However, is this actually useful? IMHO, this is just dead code which will never get used normally. At least I don't know any single app which would use the extension - they definitely prefer things like ARB_vertex_array_object...
IIRC this was specifically implemented for a single customer for the r200 driver, so unless this customer wants to use other graphic cards, I can't see how this would be really useful in other drivers.
Just my opinion, of course ;-).
