This looks like https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1505
(there was some discussion about it in dri-devel too around that
time). Even though the bug status is still new, it has been fixed and
I never saw that problem again. I don't know if there were
driver-specific parts about it though.

Thanks for the info. I'll try to update drm and recompile. Could be that
the binary was left over in some way..
