I experimented a bit but i won't work. as soon as i enable dri and startx it crashes: The screen gets black and i can't do anything. If i try it on 640x480 i can see parts of what i see after powerup (bios stuff. Ram, AMI Logo etc). Any idea?
Hi Andreas, are you running 64 bit or 32 bit ? If the latter, then try the following:
1. Check the AGP settings in BIOS.. Maybe you need to enable or disable
something 2. Check the agpgart module - is it being loaded before DRM module ?
is it the right agpgart for your chipset ?
Have there been any updates for it ? (Check 2.6.10 changelog)best
