I've also seen it broken in another way. I have an IGP345M and after quiting 
some fullscreen games (running through Wine) the screen would not switch back 
to the right resolution. Attempts to switch it through the command line using 
the usual method (I forgot what the command was) didn't work. You could only 
change the resolution downwards but not upwards. However, I was told to try 
using the xrandr command and that worked.
