Hi,
Getting there with the process of getting all the VIA stuff working. Using 2.4.24-epia1 kernel and XF86 4.4, and got X working with the VIA driver as below. XFree86 Version 4.4.0 Release Date: 29 February 2004 X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 6.6 Build Operating System: Linux 2.4.24-epia1 i686 [ELF] Current Operating System: Linux jukebox1 2.4.24-epia1 #15 Wed May 12 09:15:13 EDT 2004 i686 Build Date: 11 May 2004 II) VIA(0): initializing int10 (II) VIA(0): Primary V_BIOS segment is: 0xc000 (II) VIA(0): VESA BIOS detected (II) VIA(0): VESA VBE Version 3.0 (II) VIA(0): VESA VBE Total Mem: 32768 kB (II) VIA(0): VESA VBE OEM: VIA CLE266 To get XvMC I grabbed the latest DRM 1.3 due to. (EE) VIA(0): [XvMC] Kernel drm is not compatible with XvMC. (EE) VIA(0): [XvMC] Kernel drm version: 1.1.0 and need at least version 1.3.0. However with the build of DRM I get the following: drm_drv.h: In function `drm_init': drm_drv.h:708: warning: implicit declaration of function `pci_get_subsys' drm_drv.h:708: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast drm_drv.h:718: warning: implicit declaration of function `pci_dev_put' I pulled the DRM source from CVS and am trying to build standalone.
Anybody any suggestions for this? Is the DRM update and VIA drivers all included in the Unichrome source RPM? Wondering which methodology get over this final problem? Thank you very much in advance. A |
