How hard is it to get a remote GL protocol running on top of mesa-solo? Is the GLX protocol code completely integrated into the X protocol or is it something that can be broken out fairly easily? Was Ian talking about building the GLX protocol support in the mesa tree when I wasn't paying attention?
I certainly never suggested such a thing. I think that would be very, very painful to do. In any case, there are other projects (i.e., Chromium) that have more efficient encodings for GL commands than GLX. You might be better off using something like that intsead.
