Thats exactly the location where I got the DRI sources from which caused my
X-server not to start afterwards.
I don't know where the problem is. The application which causes the crash with
the Radeon 7500 and the freeze with the Radeon 9000 reproduceable can be
installed within less than ten minutes. It should be easy to use it for
debugging purposes within the latest development environment. My experiments
with the latest or propably not latest) versions cost me hours without any
success.
