Why do you think so? I do think there should be discussion about this, but there hasn't been yet, has there? It looks like the DRI 3D drivers are about to move into the Mesa tree. It might make sense to move the DDX parts into the XFree86 tree, provided the developers get CVS access [1]. It might also make sense to keep the DRM separate from everything else in order to try and keep clean interfaces between either two parts. Thoughts? [1] It's my understanding that this was the main reason for the DRI to be a project of its own in the first place, but I wasn't around the DRI back then, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong. -- Earthling Michel Dnzer \ Debian (powerpc), XFree86 and DRI developer Software libre enthusiast \ http://svcs.affero.net/rm.php?r=daenzer ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: eBay Get office equipment for less on eBay! http://adfarm.mediaplex.com/ad/ck/711-11697-6916-5 _______________________________________________ Dri-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel
