weird. i just started glxgears (i thought it may work because i want it to work) and it worked. i got direct rendering! but when i start quake3 i get this (its from the quake3 log): --- Common Initialization Complete --- Opening IP socket: localhost:27960 Hostname: slak.localdomain Alias: slak IP: 10.0.0.2 ^3PunkBuster Server: PunkBuster Server (v0.993 | A0 C0.0) **DISABLED** usage: connect [server] usage: set <variable> <value> drmCommandWrite: -22 drmRadeonCmdBuffer: -22 (exiting) it kicked me back to X then. no further info in the sys or X logs. Whats going on? thx. Jan. __________________________________________________________________ Gesendet von Yahoo!
