I compiled my own kernel. The source is under /usr/src/linux I guess
the makefile is looking for the headers in /usr/src/linux/include,
isn't it?

What files is the makefile exactly looking for? "locate drm" gives me a
pretty long list.

/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.18/drivers/char/drm
/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.18/drivers/char/drm-4.0
/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.18/drivers/char/drm-4.0/agpsupport.c
/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.18/drivers/char/drm-4.0/auth.c

...

Why did I not get that error last time? I did not change anything
relevant on my system. I still use the same self compiled kernel and
the same version of X. I followed the instructions from the
Retinal-howto and the compilation guide. As far as I can see, I did
everything exactly like last time, with one change. I compiled in
/usr/local/src/DRI-CVS and not in ~/DRI-CVS.

So do I have to use

make -f Makefile.linux TREE=/usr/src/linux/include mach64.o

Thanks,
Michael
