I just replaced my ailing Voodoo 3500 with a Radeon AIW-7500, and started trying to pull the bleeding-edge DRI and Gatos together, with no success.
If I use the DRI kernel module and drivers, I get accelerated 3D, but the drivers for the tuner/capture/XVideo don't load. If I load the Gatos drivers with the DRI kernel module, 3D locks up (I can run glxinfo and get the information, but gears or any other actual use of the GL locks up). However, all the multimedia drivers load and run. If I use the GATOS drivers and kernel module, all the 2D drivers load, but GL locks up.
