Could you try the 7500 in 16 bit, does that render for the mesa/demos
games etc you say give you a blank screen?

If it does, I did a patch that used 24BIT_FLOAT_Z depth buffer instead
of INT, which removes a lot of the artifacts I'm seeing, I'm trying to
get glean's depth buffer sanity check to pass (with any depth buffer
format) before posting it though.

In the latest CVS, there are envars RADEON_NO_CODEGEN=1 and
RADEON_NO_VTXFMT=1 to try (as well as RADEON_NO_TCL=1) (although prior to
Keith's recent cvs update, at least wrt mesa and glut demos I'd got to
the stage where I was finding more issues with RADEON_NO_TCL=1 than
without.
