Hello,
You may already know about this, may have even
fixed it in CVS, not sure, but thought I'd drop you a
note just to make sure. I have a Radeon 32MB DDR video
card (not the "lite" version, but the full version) on
a Abit KT7A mobo, which is based on the VIA KT133A
chipset. When I run the Soldier of Fortune Demo, or
the Descent 3 demo using Linux 2.2.16 and XFree86 4.1
(I'm using Debian unstable distribution, so it would
be the version of DRI/DRM that is currently in that),
I get corruption. I'll try to be as descriptive as
possible here, but am not really sure exactly what's
going on. Basically, if I look through a door or a
window, when I move the camera (i.e. my "character" in
the game) it looks like the edge of the object or
texture gets repeated over and over and over again.
Is this a problem that has already been fixed?
If you need any information from my computer, email me
with instructions on how to get that information and I
will be happy to try to comply.
Jeff Schmidt
