It's called agpgart, ask Jeff. ;-) (t=table) I cant confirm what nVidia is doing there. But they are providing closed source drivers only (with except of a few lines for the kernel module). Linux is an OS of choices and an OS of OpenSource, so i think ATI meets the Linux system much better, because ATI is providing two distinct choices: * a closed source driver for the professional CAD user (FireGL products only) * and an open source driver (via the DRI folks) for whoever this is helpfull or of interest.
