If you look carefully at the source, you'll find it is just a small
wrapper for the actual code. All the actual code that operates the card
is in binaries. This makes it easier for them to install their driver on
different versions of the Linux kernel, but it really is closed source
and doesn't provide any useful information to someone who wants to write
drivers for the card.
