I've just made some modifications to this and also put up a first cut at
a new 'DRIsetup' program that will test the DRI installation for correct
operation.
There's a lot of work yet to do with this new tool, but it may well help
some of you - fix some possibly broken installations. But it also
displays all versions of kernel module, core libraries, ddx driver and
client 3D driver for review by the developers should issues arise.
It is very much a work in progress and there's lots of things to catch
yet, but...
If you do experience problems, please take the time to run this tool and
give feedback.
