After downloading with wget, this happened:

I also tried gunzip, failed. I tried the normal Ctrl+x in the following
happened:
[slitt@mydesk junk]$ unzip ../dovecot-2.4.0-example-config.tar.gz

file-roller also failed. gvim showed a file with some sort of error
message. It shouldn't be this difficult.
