$ dpkg -l '*sdl*' There may be existing Debian bug reports, if this is really related to SDL. I must say I can't tell how we can be sure of that. Maybe ibus in Squeeze is just too young. You can also try to backport a newer version of ibus to see if this changes something. If newer versions do not depend on too recent libraries, it is usually quite easy to do. -- Cheers, JM.
