Yeah your right....PHP isnt scalable....i know PHP developers that have jobs for life cause they dont translate easily between developers without a 90 degree climb in learning curve. And as far as Manageability, .Net is easier to manage between versions than PHP. You get a PHP developer gone crazy with implicit conversions and assignments then couple that with a LUA-like table storage for data, and you can loose yourself in the code.
I havent seen one PHP site that doesnt use the .Net framework when it comes to security, manageability, and scalability. What you dont realize is that the ASP.Net framework is free to use and deploy, same as PHP. If you notice i have excluded MySQL from the convo, due to the fact that the limitations of MySQL are strengthened in MSSQL and vice versa.
