Hi Folks,
Just a little note regarding viruses and files in general.I work as a senior network technician at Delta Dental in Boston, and as a rule of thumb, when you get any attachment or any mail that has a .exe or .com as an extension on it,unless you're 100% sure where it came from, don't open it.If you right mouse any file in general, and look at the properties, you can get a pretty good idea of what and where it came from, looking forward to the Doobs show at the FleetBoston Pavilion, hope this helps.

This is what my friend sent me.  She did some research on this.

Lori,
Our IS Department has informed me that this email is INDEED a hoax. It is
basically getting people to delete their own files that they do need. File
SULFNBK.EXE is a file you need and has a couple of functions. It is part of
the windows installation and it also supports long file names. I have
copied & pasted an example from the Microsoft website Q&A problem resolution
(for those of you who still don't believe), see step #10. You may also
check for yourself on the Microsoft website.

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS
After you uninstall Windows 98, the long file names on the Start menu may be
replaced with MS-DOS-compatible (short) file names in 8.3 format. For
example, the Accessories folder on the Start menu may be displayed as
Access~1.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the Windows 98 uninstall procedure did not finish
successfully.

where <path> is the path to the folder in which the Winlfn.ini file
is located.

9.On the File menu, click Save. On the File menu, click Exit.
