I did not realize that, but it does make sense. Normally, I limit the
styles I see to what is in the list "Applied styles". I would not have
noticed their existence except I need more than three level of list
styles for the Planning/Designing your Database.

The paragraph styles for lists with Start, Continue, and End in their
names are built-in; they cannot be deleted. They can, however, be
hidden and perhaps they should be.
