I was not aware of that. The Contributor Guide should be updated to
reflect this.

or figures must be restricted to the number, and not carry the category.
For example:
"See Figure 10"
keep the reference as "10" and put "Figure" as plain text.
The reason is because the word "Figure" will be translated. When the
category is included in the reference, it will not be possible to
translate without reworking all the references, with a translated category.
