Alan Cook has incorporated the new material (translated by Hazel) into Chapter 2 of the Base Handbook for LOv4.2.
I have made some minor changes (mainly to paragraph styles and to info on the copyright page) to the file and uploaded it to http://www.odfauthors.org/libreoffice/english/base-handbook/drafts_4.2/bh4-2-ch2-creating-a-database/view Anyone who can help with the next step, or parts of the next step, please do! We need answers to the questions you'll find in comments in the file. THe new material needs editing to match the writing style used in the rest of this chapter and the other chapters of the book. Screengrabs from the English-US version of LO (and the English database) are needed to replace the German screengrabs you'll see in the chapter. Screengrabs can be from Linux (first choice) or Mac.
