I have created an account for you at odfauthors.org, where we do much of our work. Mostly people choose what they want to do and just do it, but I'm available to track and coordinate efforts as needed. This page tracks who's working on what for the user guides: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Development/UserGuideTasks We spend a lot of time keeping the user guides up to date and improving on them, but we also have other projects to work on; many -- both large and small -- are on the "wish list" awaiting people to adopt them.
