Hi all,

Since I am currently working on translating the Getting Started with
Base into French, I was wondering how we could organise things on
Alfresco. I could of course always just create a replica set of folders
in my home (I suppose), prefixing or suffixing them with FR, but that
wouldn't make them accessible to everyone would it ?

>From what I recall of the OOoAuthors site, the translation groups
duplicated the workflow folders by creating a LANG main folder, with the
equivalent other folders from the main EN system underneath. Personally,
I found this very hard to follow, since I was always unsure what was
current and what was not, and how far along any given document might be
in the translation process. It would be great if there were some easy
way to resolve this problem within Alfresco. I must admit that I find
Alfresco visually easier to navigate than OOoAuthors was, although I
haven't looked at ODFAUthors recent setup, so my praise may be biased.

Any suggestions ?

Alex
