We are in total agreement that it is way past time when we need to
publish some up-to-date documentation.

Not sure that a review is strictly speaking a contribution, Although the
2010 Getting Started 3.3 edition preface shows:

Contributors
OpenOffice.org
Jean Hollis Weber Michele Zarri
Magnus Adielsson Thomas Astleitner
Richard Barnes Agnes Belzunce
Chris Bonde Nicole Cairns
Daniel Carrera JiHui Choi
Richard Detwiler Alexander Noël Dunne
Laurent Duperval Spencer E. Harpe
Regina Henschel Peter Hillier-Brook
Richard Holt John Kane
Rachel Kartch Stefan A. Keel
Jared Kobos Michael Kotsarinis
Peter Kupfer Ian Laurenson
Dan Lewis Alan Madden
Michel Pinquier Andrew Pitonyak
Carol Roberts Iain Roberts
Hazel Russman Gary Schnabl
Robert Scott Joe Sellman
Janet Swisher Jim Taylor
Alex Thurgood Barbara M. Tobias
Claire Wood Linda Worthington

And the 2013 3.4 edition adds:

Contributors
LibreOffice
Ron Faile Jr. Jeremy Cartwright
Jean Hollis Weber Martin Fox
Andrew Pitonyak Hazel Russman
John A Smith David Michel
Peter Schofield Dan Lewis

It may well be that the preface of the 2022 4.1 edition is yet to be
finalized, but at this stage there does not appear to be any
acknowledgement of previous contributors. Since this and previous
editions of the guide are adaptations of the original oooauthors
publication, it seems only fair and reasonable that previous
contributors should be acknowledged.

I have no great interest in attribution, but if you wish you can add me
(Dave Barton) to the above mentioned contributors when I have finished
and submitted my review.

Regards
Dave
