I confirmed that my forked repository at https://github.com/FJCC/openoffice-docs is up to date with my local files for the Writer Guide and the Calc Guide. That work was a first pass through all of the chapters of each guide, applying the AOOdoc template, updating the material and fixing typos. There are a few open questions that are documented in comments within the guides or in the commits. These guides are not ready for publication but I think they are ready for a review by others. I would be happy to fix any systematic defects in formatting or style
