Hi all,

This revision reflects the rather minimal wording improvements from Wes's
review earlier this week.

The authors are not aware of any outstanding questions, issues, or suggestions,
and are looking forward to the next steps.

Best,
Peter + Steve

Internet-Draft draft-ietf-dnsop-ds-automation-04.txt is now available. It is a
work item of the Domain Name System Operations (DNSOP) WG of the IETF.

Title: Operational Recommendations for DS Automation
    Authors: Steve Sheng
             Peter Thomassen
    Name: draft-ietf-dnsop-ds-automation-04.txt
    Pages: 25
    Dates: 2026-02-13

Abstract:

Enabling support for automatic acceptance of DS parameters from the
Child DNS operator (via RFCs 7344, 8078, 9615) requires the parental
agent, often a registry or registrar, to make a number of technical
decisions around acceptance checks, error and sucess reporting, and
multi-party issues such as concurrent updates. This document
describes how these points are best addressed in practice.
