This new draft defines a new Domain Name System (DNS) resource record type
called the Address Mapping Record (AMR).
This draft firstly describes the necessity of implementing IPv4 as a Service
(IPv4aaS) in multi-domain IPv6-only networks and proposes using the Address
Mapping Record (AMR) within the DNS mechanism to resolve interoperability
issues between IPv4 and IPv6 networks, and then defines the format of the AMR
record, and finally describes the operational procedures for implementing
IPv4aaS via DNS AMR record in an IPv6-only networks.
