Dear authors *and* DNSOP WG,

Three DNSOP documents (draft-ietf-dnsop-rfc8624-bis,
draft-ietf-dnsop-must-not-ecc-gost, draft-ietf-dnsop-must-not-sha1 [1]) were
reviewed by the IESG last week on the 22nd of May 2025, now they could be
approved and sent to the RFC editor for publication as there are no more
blocking DISCUSS (thanks Med, Paul, Roman, Warren, and Wes).

I intend to approve them in one week, i.e., Wednesday 4th of June, to leave
time to the authors to optionally address some comments (see below) and to
give an opportunity to the DNSOP WG to have a look in the recent editorial
changes.

https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-dnsop-rfc8624-bis/ballot/ mainly
about RFC 8624 being an informative reference (see also RFC 4960 and 9260)
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-dnsop-must-not-sha1/ballot/ mainly
about Med and Paul comments.
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-dnsop-must-not-ecc-gost/ballot/
perhaps the last part of Paul comment (up to the authors)

Regards

-éric

[1] if you wonder why an INT AD is the responsible AD for these 3 drafts, this
is simply because Warren Kumari, one of the authors, was the OPS AD when
publication was requested ;-)
