All,

During the Mailman 3 upgrade to the IETF mailing lists back in May, a
change was made to the behavior of the mailing lists, which ended up
causing document email notifications to not appear on the DNSOP mailing
list. In investigating this, it appeared that in the "Ban List" setting in
mailman, "[email protected]" had been added somewhere along the way(*).

For the curious, the issue arose because the address [email protected]
appeared in the `Reply-To` list for the announcement. Mailman, by default,
considers addresses in that header to be "senders" for purposes of applying
bans. The chairs also subscribe to the id-announce mailing list/firehose so
they appeared in our mailboxes (and one just assumes any duplicates are
suppressed by mail clients).

While this happened in mid May, I've summarized the list of document
updates since the last IETF meeting. The chairs want to make sure the
working group is aware of all these updates.

(*) Note of Interest: [email protected] was created on Nov. 25, 2006
