I've just pushed rc2 for completeness, the delta from rc1 has no code
changes.
Only known problem so far is a the DHCP captive-portal changes have
broken a systemd regression test. This looks like a problem with the test.

After a delay for unrelated reasons, I'm back trying to release 2.92.
I've incorporated a few low-risk patches that have accumulated during
the hiatus, and tagged 2.92rc1.
Please could people test that? In the absence of good reasons not to,
I intend to release it as 2.92 pretty soon and get on with the backlog
of new stuff.
Simon,
thanks for getting back to the 2.92 release efforts.
To assist testing, I have updated the FreeBSD port on the main and
quarterly branches to 2.92rc1 (the port origin is dns/dnsmasq-devel for
now) , it should be propagating now, the binary builds may take a day;
and we may see reduced download speeds as people seem to be downloading
FreeBSD 15.0, which has been released earlier this week.
(I've sent one minor Git patch to Simon directly, it's about docs, not
code.)
Cheers,
Matthias
