this is because i had no SPF record in my domain's TXT RRset. now, SPF is a bone headed idea and badly implemented, but i never cared until today because the lack of an SPF record inside my domain's TXT RRset never mattered. i briefly considered adding such a record until i found that only one TXT string is permitted, so TXT "v=spf1 mx" not TXT (v=spf1 mx) in the zone file. i guess i'll just add one with "v=spf1 +all" to shut google up? or perhaps i'll just ignore the error and stop e-mailing joe abley. so many ignorant and poor judgements shaping this future. -- Paul _______________________________________________ dns-operations mailing list [email protected] https://lists.dns-oarc.net/mailman/listinfo/dns-operations
