Excluding city from the ModelForm seems to work as well...
class AddRestaurantForm(ModelForm):
rating = forms.IntegerField(widget=forms.Select(choices =
RATING_CHOICE), required=False)
city = forms.CharField(max_length=100)
class Meta:
model = Restaurant
exclude = ('slug', 'city')
