That is a very poor reason to contemplate using such a system. It seems to me that you're trying to run a real hosting business on a shared hosting account that limits you to one domain per account but "unlimited" sub-domains. If that is the case, you're probably going to have other issues that you don't know about yet, like resource limits, poor performance due to sharing the server with an unknown number of other accounts, not to mention the problem with mail that you've already recognized. Build your system first and you can deal with how to deploy it properly once it is ready to go live. Dedicated servers aren't so expensive that you should be spending any time whatsoever on trying to beat your hosting provider's system. If your clients are going to be paying you to host their applications with you, provided you don't undercharge, you'll have plenty of room to afford a dedicated server. Feel free ontact me off-list if you need help with this. -- Regards, Clifford Ilkay Dinamis 1419-3266 Yonge St. Toronto, ON Canada M4N 3P6 <http://dinamis.com> +1 416-410-3326
