I'm not sure that requestContext was what i needed... I need simply to be able to get user data from inside my base template... the django tutorial says that you should by default, be able to do so, but I'm finding this to not be the case. Do you have any other ideas as to why it's not working for me? Sorry, and thanks so much -Robert
