Yes, it is. Edit the site information via the admin interface to display the correct domain name and all will be well. Admittedly this isn't as perfect as it could be, but it's not a huge roadblock so we haven't invested the necessary time to make things easily when you absolutely, definitely, positively only have one site without breaking all code in existence. Might happen one day, though.
