`MEDIA_URL` was remove from the project template in
3f1c7b70537330435e2ec2fca9550f7b7fa4372e (Django 1.6) and I agree that
''"many sites will never deal with user-uploaded files"''.
You can start a discussion on DevelopersMailingList if you don't agree.
