The word "core" refers to the fact that the sprints I propose are exclusively dedicated to the Django code, unlike what happens now in the sprints at the end of DjangoCon where people sprint on different things. To avoid further misunderstandings, I reiterate that the sprints I propose are in some way similar to what already happens in other communities, for example CPython [1] and HPy [2].
