I don't think it's worth implementing, though, because you can already query across multiple foreign-key relationships like this: A.objects.filter(b__c__exact=x) As for making C.a_set available, I'd suggest just doing A.objects.filter(b__c__exact=c_instance) in your view, and that'll get the job done.
