I've just tested django_notify, so far it seems plenty good enough to replace all my pass-on-message hacks (not to mention being much more elegant than any of 'em) expect for not being able to set a message php-style in the GET, this way: http://example.com/?msg=Shiver+me+timbers Whether being able to do that at all is desirable is another question entirely ;) Big bonus in my view: it's completely independent of the django.contrib.auth-system. > What needs to be done to get this or something like it into contrib?
