It would mean we could do CVS-style keyword expansion inside files. That is,
SVN would automatically expand "$Author$" to the name of the person who last
checked in the file.
Personally, I hate keyword expansion with a hatred usually reserved for
members of Class Arachnida and my freshman-year college roommate.
That's a -1, for anyone keeping track.
